Moreno Valley Police Catch Suspect who Attacked his Family Member with a Knife

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. – On Friday night, Moreno Valley Police responded to the area of Ironwood and Moreno Beach for the report of an assault.

When they arrived they learned that a family member had attacked the victim with a knife. The attack led to major injuries. Authorities obtained a search warrant and searched overnight for the suspect. Moreno Valley Police, with the assistance of the Riverside Sheriff’s K9 Team Service

Dogs located the suspect hiding in a nearby yard. He was taken into custody.
Being that the suspect is family to the victim, police are not releasing his identity at this time.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Deputy Chavez or Investigator Coleman at 951.486.6700. The is no danger to the public and there are no outstanding suspect.
