MORENO VALLEY – Approximately $16,000 worth of drugs were located in a vehicle that was stopped as a result of a vehicle equipment violation on Wednesday. At around 6:40 p.m. the officer from the Moreno Valley Police Department stopped the vehicle. The vehicle pulled over and the two males inside exited the vehicle and began walking away from the vehicle.
The officer made contact with the driver and passenger and began searching the vehicle. Inside the vehicle was approximately one pound of methamphetamine, six grams of Cocaine, over three pounds of Marijuana, prescription drugs, and a loaded 45 caliber handgun.
Gabriel Cabrera, 21, and Ramses Reyes, 18, both of Moreno Valley were arrested and are each being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
