MORENO VALLEY, Ca. – A Palm Middle School teacher was arrested for allegedly sending inappropriate and explicit messages to a student.
On March 2, 2020, at around 1:08 p.m., Sheriff’s officials received information that Emily Wentworth, 39, sent these messages to a student. Investigators from the Moreno Valley Station assumed the investigation. As part of the investigation, interviews were done, evidence was collected and a search warrant for Wentworth’s home was obtained. During the search, digital media was collected from her Nuevo home and she was taken into custody without incident. She was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for Distributing Harmful Matter to a Minor.
The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station will be vigilant in investigating all crimes.
