VICTORVILLE – A mother and daughter were arrested after a call reporting a stabbing at the Rancho Seneca Apartments on Monday afternoon.
The 911 call was made at around 12:33 p.m. when the reporting party said that the mother, later identified as Ladonna Miller, 60, had stabbed her daughter identified as Donnisha Burnett, 28. Deputies arrived and learned that the two women had only been involved in a verbal altercation. One of the women left the home, and the deputies closed the call.
At 1:50 p.m., deputies were again dispatched to the apartment complex located at 14779 Seneca Road in the City of Victorville. The caller said that the mother had stabbed her daughter in her face. “When the deputy returned he learned the two had been in another argument and that Burnett had physically assaulted Miller but no stabbing occurred,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
During a record check, Miller was found to have an outstanding warrant. The two women were arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center. While en route to the jail, the women began kicking each other and were charged with an additional count of assault.
