BLOOMINGTON, Calif. – One man was killed as a result of a motorcycle crash on the 10 freeway in Bloomington.
On Friday, July 12, 2019, at around 4:11 a.m., the unidentified motorcyclist was traveling on the 1-10 eastbound, east of Cedar Avenue, at an unknown speed. For reasons that remain under investigation, the driver was involved in a collision and was ejected into lanes of traffic. A vehicle traveling eastbound on the 10 freeway, east of Cedar Avenue, hit the ejected rider.
Another vehicle traveling in the same direction, struck the motorcycle, authorities said. Both parties involved in the subsequent collisions remained at the scene and were not injured. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. His name is not being released at this time so that his family can first be notified.
