FONTANA – A motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a parked vehicle and concrete pillar on Monday evening. At around 6:40 p.m. the Fontana Police responded to a traffic collision in the 16300 block of Valley Boulevard. When officers arrived they found an unresponsive male rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Through investigation, officers learned that the rider was driving fast and popping wheelies as he traveled east on Valley. The excessive speed and reckless driving apparently led to him losing control and colliding with the vehicle and pillar. The Fontana Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is handling the investigation and anyone that has information on this collision is asked to call the Fontana Police Department Traffic Unit at (909) 350-7700.
