RIVERSIDE – At 9:35 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle versus motorcycle collision in the 7100 block of Indiana Avenue. When they arrived they found a male motorcyclist inside the driver’s side window of the vehicle. Firefighters removed the motorcyclist and began advanced life support before and during transport to a local hospital. The motorcyclist was in critical condition during transport and died shortly arriving at the hospital.
The other vehicle had two occupants, a man, and a woman. The female had moderate injuries and the male patient has minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Indiana Avenue was closed to traffic between Washington and Juanita, while the Riverside police Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene.
