RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Ca. – A 42-year-old Montclair resident after a bizarre attack on Friday night.
At around 11:35 p.m. a male victim and a second occupant were sitting in their vehicle watching a naked woman light a trash bin on fire in the 9300 block of Buffalo Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. The female suspect, later identified as Jessica Lopez, threw several objects into the fire causing it to grow.
The victim got his cell phone from his vehicle and called 9-1-1. Before he realized she was coming toward him, Lopez stabbed the victim in his chest. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and removed the knife from his chest. Lopez remained in the area, behaving bizarrely while deputies were en route. Deputies arrived and were able to take Lopez into custody. She was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for Attempted Murder. She is being held in lieu of $1000000 bail.
