LA QUINTA, Calif. – Three Brooklyn, New York residents were arrested in Riverside County for credit card fraud on Tuesday, officials said.
At around 10:00 p.m., deputies from the La Quinta station responded to the Home Depot store in the 79900 block of Highway 111, for the report of a theft in progress. It was learned that Claudine Boston, 22-years-old of Brooklyn, Musilimont Oniga, 20-years-old of Brooklyn, and Patrick Howard, 22-years-old of Brooklyn, committed credit card fraud. It was also learned that the three suspects were involved with other incidents involving credit card fraud and thefts at Home Depot Stores in Coachella Valley, Riverside County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County.
Authorities obtained and served a search warrant for the hotel room and vehicle the suspects were using. During the search warrant, equipment used to make fraudulent credit cards was located along with stolen property, valued at $1,500.00. Boston, Oniga, and Howard were arrested for credit card fraud and booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.
