LOMA LINDA – A man who was walking in the City of Loma Linda was nearly robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night.
At around 8:50 p.m. the victim was walking on Poplar Street near Prospect Avenue when two black male subjects approached him, one pointing a black handgun at his face. He demanded the victim’s wallet, but the victim refused and pushed the gun out of his face. The victim ran away as one of the suspects threatened to shoot him as he ran away. The suspects fled north from the location.
The suspects were described as black men. Suspect #1 was described as 17-20-years-old, 5’6”, and was wearing an orange shirt. Suspect #2 was described as 17-20-years-old, 5’8”, and was wearing a long sleeve sweater and a bandana covering his face.
