BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Authorities are attempting to identify the suspect who shot two people, killing one on Friday.
At around 11:17 p.m. deputies responded to the 1200 block of Barlow Street in the City of Bakersfield. Carlos Ramiro Venegas, 40, of Bakersfield, was transported to the hospital and died as a result of his injuries. The second person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
