RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Two women and one man were arrested following a traffic stop in the City of Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday.
Authorities said that at 12:15 a.m. a vehicle was stopped near the 9th Street and Baker Avenue intersection when the vehicle was determined to be stolen from Redlands. The driver and two passengers were all found to be on felony probation and were arrested at the scene. During the investigation around 11 grams of methamphetamine were located concealed in the possession of driver, Kimberly Cuevas-Urias, 22, of Fontana. Also found in the glove box was a loaded revolver and an additional 3 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and washed checks.
Sergio Cervantes, 29 of Riverside was identified as a gang member. Cervantes and Cuevas-Urias were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. In addition, Cervantes was booked for drug sales, possession of a firearm, and possession of altered checks. Brenda Pichardo, 21, of Ontario was arrested for outstanding warrants. All three were booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
