RIVERSIDE, Calif. – One motorcycle rider was killed and a second is suffering from major head injuries after a traffic collision on Wednesday night.
At around 10:30 p.m., Riverside Police responded to the report of a traffic collision near Adams Street and Carmelia Drive. Through preliminary investigation it was learned that the motorcycle had two riders and was stopped on Adams Street, waiting to make a left turn on Camelia Drive. A Honda Civic hit th back of the motorcycle causing the riders to be ejected. One rider was transported to the hospital for major head injuries. The other rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene and is currently investigating this incident.
