VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A call from concerned motorists led to two citations and an impounded vehicle over the weekend.
CHP officials said that they received numerous reports of a male passenger hanging out of a window, waving his hand. CHP Officer Lopez stopped the vehicle. When conducting a record check he learned that the driver had a suspended license. Both the driver and the passenger were cited and the vehicle was impounded.
“The passenger is lucky he didn’t get himself killed,” CHP officials said on the Facebook post. “The safety message in this post is don’t sit on the window frame of your vehicle and attempt to touch the roadway driving down the freeway.”
