PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Authorities are seeking witnesses to a fight and shooting that left two men injured.
On March 24, 2019, at around 1:38 a.m., Palm Springs Police responded to the 2300 block of North Palm Canyon for the report of a shooting. When they arrived they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. When police arrived, they made contact with the victims suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Through investigation it was learned that there was a fight inside the location. The fight ended up outside leading to a shooting in the parking lot. Police are attempting to locate the shooter, a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic man. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and tattoos on his neck.
There were several witnesses present who fled the location prior to the arrival of officers. Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-778-8411. Anonymous information can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.
