CHINO HILLS – Deputies from the Chino Hills station were dispatched to the 15000 block of Aqueduct Lane reference the report of a stolen vehicle on Monday.
At around 6:45 a.m. two suspects, identified as 33-year-old Ontario resident, Jose Sandoval, and 22-year-old Montclair resident, Christopher Ross entered the victim’s home through her open garage door. The suspects stole her purse that had the keys to her silver 2011 Honda CRV inside which they also took, authorities said.
Chino Hills Deputies arrived at the victim’s location and entered the vehicle as stolen. Several hours later at approximately 2:00 p.m. Pomona Police officers stopped the vehicle that was occupied by the pair who were in possession of stolen property from the victim’s home.
The two were arrested without further incident. Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact Deputy Joseph Patrick at the Chino Hills Sheriff’s Station.
