POMONA, Calif. – A 57-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were shot in the City of Pomona early Wednesday morning.
Pomona Police officials said that at around 5:49 a.m. they responded to the 700 block of Park Avenue for the report of a shooting. The suspect, a black man, shot at the two victims who police said were sitting in their vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Officers arrived quickly to find no victims or shooters but they did find evidence of the shooting. They learned that the suspect fled and the victims left in their vehicle to the hospital. No suspects have been arrested at this time. The two victims were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
