RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for identity theft after a proactive vehicle check authorities said. On Wednesday, August 17, 2017, at around 8:00 a.m. deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Station made contact with Daniel Colby, 30, in the 9000 block of Baseline Road.
Colby was found to be in possession of burglary tools, stolen credit cards, stolen checks and stolen mail from Rancho Cucamonga and other surrounding areas. Paredes was also found to have community mail box keys in his possession. He was arrested for forgery, identity theft, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing.
