RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Ca. – A 48-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for the downloading a distributing of child pornography.
On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, it was discovered that Jesus Velazuez (also known as Alberto Morenove) was downloading and distributing child pornography over the internet. A search warrant was authored for his home in the 6400 block of Jasper in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. When the search warrant was served, multiple electronic devices were seized. These electronic devices contained evidence of downloading and distributing child pornography. Velazuez was arrested but was later bailed out.
Through investigation it was learned that Velazuez also went by the name of Alberto Morenove when working as a professional photographer and videographer for his company, “Studio HD Productions”. Detectives reviewed all of his electronic devices and believe that there may be unidentified child victims. An arrest warrant was issued for Velazuez based on the evidence after he was bailed out. Authorities said that Velazuez returned home once he was bailed out but subsequently left in an attempt to flee. He was located in the City of Temecula and was arrested without incident. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $1million bail.
