RIVERSIDE – A 48-year-old woman died after a single-vehicle traffic collision late Saturday morning. At around 11:50 p.m. Riverside Police and Fire officials responded to the report of the collision on the 4600 block of Brockton Avenue. Authorities said that the dark gray Honda Accord was driving north on Brockton Avenue when for unknown reasons, the vehicle went into the southbound lanes.
The vehicle stopped after colliding into a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported as a result of this collision. The incident remains under the investigation of the Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
