BARSTOW – Two Barstow men were arrested following a routine traffic stop on Tuesday night. At around 11:35 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop of a silver Infiniti for vehicle code violations. The vehicle stopped in the 1700 block of West Main Street.

The deputy made contact with driver Daniel Gordon, 33, and passenger Robert Flores, 43, who were both found to be unlicensed. Through a records search on the two occupants, the deputy learned that Flores had an outstanding arrest warrant. Gordon was found to be on felony probation. During a probation search of the vehicle, ½ pound of suspected methamphetamine was located.

Gordon was arrested for transporting methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine for sale, and a probation violation. He was booked into the Barstow jail and is being held without bail. Flores was booked for the outstanding warrant and is being held with a $5000 bail.

Flores was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest and Gordon was on felony probation. During a probation search of the vehicle, Mamon found approximately 1/2 pound of suspected methamphetamine. Mamon subsequently arrested Gordon for HS 11379 – Transporting Methamphetamine, HS 11378 – Possession of Methamphetamine for sale and a Probation violation.
