GRAND TERRACE – A 54-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested for using a stolen credit card to make an over $6,000 purchase on Monday. Authorities said that at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday the business on the 22000 block of Commerce way reported the fraudulent use of the credit card.
The suspect, Guadalupe Sedillo, allegedly made a telephone purchase using the stolen credit card. The merchandise ordered totalled $6200. Sedillo used his own name when making the purchase and arrived at the location to pick up the ordered merchandise.
While there, Sedillo was detained and positively identified. Both the victim and the business are requesting that Sedillo, who was in possession of the stolen credit card, is prosecuted. Sedillo was booked into the Central Detention Center for the theft and use of credit card data. He is being held in lieu of 25,000 bail and is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on Wednesday afternoon.
