SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – A San Bernardino man was arrested for the ongoing sexual abuse of two children, authorities said.
The sexual abuse allegedly went on from 2014 to 2017 and in Highland, then when the family moved, in San Bernardino. The suspect, identified by authorities as 24-year-old, David Junior Torres, was trusted by the family. At the end of 2018, the allegations were reported. Torres was interviewed and subsequently arrested on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, for lewd and lascivious acts against a child under 14.
Torres was booked at the Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the San Bernardino Superior Court on Friday, July 5, 2019.
Authorities are asking that the public call detectives if they believe that Torres had inappropriate contact or access to their children.
