SAN BERNARDINO – A 51-year-old Barstow man lost his life after being involved in a motorcycle accident on Monday, May 28, 2018.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and emergency medical personnel responded to the report of a motorcycle collision that occurred on the I-215 south, just south of University Parkway in the City of San Bernardino at around 4:53 a.m. When they arrived they located Randall Dean Hoffman suffering from traumatic injuries. He was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased while in the emergency room just before 7:00 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. The family of Hoffman are asking for help for travel expenses for his son and son’s family to attend his funeral. They have set up a Go Fund Me account with a goal of $3000, with $1620 already collected.
