SAN BERNARDINO – A 16-year-old San Bernardino boy led a Central Station Deputy on a pursuit on Friday afternoon. Deputy Gile attempted to stop the black Honda Civic for vehicle code violations near Rialto Avenue and Lena Road at around 3:34 p.m. but the vehicle failed to stop.
The driver fled at a high rate of speed, running lights and ignoring stop signs. He turned south on Tippecanoe and attempted to turn right on Sheppard Boulevard but crashed into the signal light. All three occupants in the vehicle were detained and it was determined that the vehicle was stolen. The driver was booked into juvenile hall.
