SANTA ANA, Calif. – After nearly five months, Santa Ana detectives are still looking for a man who sexually assaulted two young female family members.
The incident was reported on November 2, 2018, when one of the girls; ages 10 and 13-years-old, told an older relative about the sexual abuse. The relative confronted Omar Ricardo Baron, 48, of Santa Ana, regarding the allegations and contacted the police to report the incident. Baron fled the location before police arrived.
On November 19, 2018, a $1 million arrest warrant was issued for Baron. Baron is wanted by the Santa Ana Police Department for oral copulation and lewd acts with a child. Authorities said that Baron knows that officers are attempting to locate him. Police said that he is known to frequent Santa Ana hotels.
