VICTORVILLE – Cooler temperatures the past few days brought Victor Valley residents relief allowing them to shut off their air conditioners for a few days. This relief is expected to last until Sunday when temperatures again will go into the triple digits according to the National Weather Service Forecast.
Get ready for the upcoming scorching hot summer days ahead. Sunday is expected to reach a sunny 105 degrees with overnight temperatures in the mid-60’s. That is not it, next week is expected to be a doozy with temperatures lingering over 100 degrees all week.
Monday is expected to reach a blazing 110 degrees, and Tuesday 108 degrees with overnight temperatures both nights over 70 degrees. Wednesday through the weekend of June 25th and 26th will all stay over 100 degrees but still under the scorching 110 degrees we are expecting Monday, June 20th.
This does not appear to be a week-long heatwave as temperatures early the following week are expected to remain over 100 degrees. Stay cool and indoors if possible and remember to keep young children, the elderly and pets well-hydrated, and indoors whenever possible.
