Kern County Sheriff’s office received a report of a woman missing in the Kern River on Monday.
At around 12:45 p.m., a witness reported seeing the 41-year-old woman as she was going downriver in a circular inflatable raft off Keysville Beach at Keysville North. Search crews are attempting to locate the woman by boat, ground, and by helicopter.
KCSO Kern Valley deputies, Air Support, Kern Valley Search and Rescue, and the Kern County Fire Department are all assisting in the search.
