ADELANTO – During a sex offender registrant compliance sweep this week two were arrested and three were in violation of their registration terms Sheriff’s officials said in a news release.
The sweep, called ‘Operation Safe Home’ was conducted in the City of Adelanto by the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station investigators, State Parole agents and San Bernardino County probation officers.
The operation consists of checking on the sex offenders to verify compliance with their registration requirements as well as probation and parole searches. A criminal investigation is being done on the three who were not in registration compliance. Random compliance checks on the registered sex offenders is continuously done by the Victor Valley Station.
