BLOOMINGTON – Six Colton and San Bernardino residents were arrested as a result of an attempted carjacking near Slover Mountain High School in the City of Bloomington.
On Wednesday, June 5, 2018, at around 1:20 p.m., deputies from the Fontana Station responded to the area near the school for the report of a fight involving multiple individuals. When the deputy arrived the suspects had left the location. He made contact with three victims from Slover Mountain High School. Through interviews and investigation, the deputy learned that Gregory Ray, 19, Isaiah Anderson, 19, Brandon Moore, 19, and Kedesh Avinger,19, attacked the victims and attempted to carjack them. Four search warrants were issued for the search of several locations in Colton and San Bernardino.
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, multiple law enforcement agencies conducted an operation leading the arrest of Ray, Moore, and Avinger for charges related to the investigation. Deion Francisco, 18, and a 17-year-old male juvenile were arrested for possession of a loaded firearm stolen during a residential burglary in the City of San Bernardino. In addition, a firearm with an obliterated serial number was located.
