APPLE VALLEY – A stolen Victorville vehicle burst into flames on Tuesday before the owner even know that it was stolen authorities said.
At around 1:43 a.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to Kiowa Road and Round Up Way in Apple Valley. When they arrived the found the black 2015, Nissan 4-door sedan, which was fully engulfed in flames. Deputies contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, who was not aware the vehicle had been stolen.
The cause of the fire and exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation at this time.
