VICTORVILLE – A 24-year-old male was stabbed with a sword during a fight in the 12300 block of Bridgewood Lane in the City of Victorville on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 1:15 p.m. Victorville Police responded to the home. In the backyard they located the victim suffering from stab wounds to his chest. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. “Through investigation, deputies learned the victim had been involved in a fight with a white male at the location,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “The fight escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim with a sword. After stabbing the victim, the suspect left the location, possibly in a white pickup truck.”
Deputies searched the area to no avail. No suspect has been identified by authorities and no arrests have been made.
