VICTORVILLE – A suspect remains unidentified after attempting to run over a man near the Little Caesar’s Pizza in Victorville.
On Monday, March 27, 2017, the victim was leaving the parking lot located at 15770 Mojave Drive in his truck. As he was leaving, a silver Mercedes blocked the driveway. The driver of the truck backed up and the Mercedes parked. The victim parked near him and got out of his truck to confront the suspect.
“The suspect tried to hit the victim with his vehicle, multiple times,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “Both men left the parking lot in their vehicles and the suspect followed the victim for a short distance.”
Deputies looked for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. He was described as a black man, in his mid-twenties with dreadlocks. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
