YERMO – A 17-year-old female who was reported missing in Las Vegas Nevada was arrested for a high-speed pursuit on the 15 freeway on Monday.
On Monday, November 19, 2018, at around 10:50 a.m. a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a green 1999 Honda Accord that was traveling northbound on the 15 freeway. When the deputy made the attempt the driver sped up to over 100 miles per hour attempting to evade the deputy. As the driver continued on, she violated numerous vehicle codes, including passing, stopped emergency vehicles at high speeds. The vehicle continued for around 15 miles and yielded near Field road where the occupants were taken into custody.
The driver was found to have been reported missing on Sunday, November 18, 2018. She was arrested for evading a peace officer and was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
