TEMECULA – A 47-year-old man died as a result of a Tuesday evening traffic collision officials said. The traffic collision occurred at 4:23 p.m. on Temecula Parkway, east of Margarita Road when a silver SUV veered right leaving the roadway. The vehicle continued on ultimately colliding with a street sign and large utility pole.
Witnesses ran to the aid the driver until emergency personnel arrived. The driver, identified as Brent Shook was transported to Temecula Valley Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the collision. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs are a factor in the collision.
