HESPERIA – Three suspects, accused of stealing mail were arrested on Monday for the fraudulent use of a credit card, officials said. Victor Valley station deputies
responded to the Hilton Garden Inn located at 12603 Mariposa Road in the City of Hesperia. During the investigation, deputies learned that the victim’s credit card was being used to pay for a room at the hotel.
Deputies responded to the room that was paid for using the credit card and located the three suspects. Also located was stolen mail, drugs and also electronic equipment. The three subjects 23-year-old Russell Moore, 24-year-old Kristin Swanson (pictured) and 48-year-old Kevin Brower (pictured) were arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center where each is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. All three are facing charges for conspiracy to commit a crime and burglary.
Moore was released on bail on Tuesday morning and has no court appearances scheduled at this time. Swanson remains in jail held on $25,000 bail the above offenses, as well as an additional $25,000 bail for two misdemeanor charges of leaving an animal unattended in a vehicle. The animal cruelty charges stem from an incident last year. There are no arrest records available for Kevin Brower.
