Victorville Home Explodes Cause Unknown

VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Three teens from Compton and Alta Dena were arrested while attempting to rob a Victorville home on Monday, authorities said.

On March 8, 2021, at 3:27 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a home in the 14500 block of Maverick Place. The reporting party was hiding inside her home as she reported that there were unknown suspects inside her home. When the first deputy arrived he located a juvenile male sitting in a vehicle outside of the home. As she detained the juvenile, two additional suspects fled from the home but they were quickly detained by responding deputies.

The investigation revealed that the two teens were inside the home and were taking items when the deputy arrived. It was also learned that earlier that day, the three teens were involved in a residential robbery in the City of Hesperia. The teens, two 15-year-olds and one 14-year-old were arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. The victim was not harmed as a result of the incident.
