PHELAN, Ca. – Two Adelanto teens were arrested for a burglary and vandalism causing around $3,000 worth of damage to a Phelan home.
On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at around 3:20 pm deputies responded to a burglary in progress report in the 11600 block of Aster Road in Phelan. The victim was not home at the time of the burglary but was alerted that two juveniles were witnessed breaking windows of her home with baseball bats and entering.
Deputies arrived at the home and the two juveniles attempted to run from the property. The two 17-year-old males were taken into custody. Stolen property from the home was found in the pocket of one of the teens. Both teens were arrested and released to their parents.
