HESPERIA – Just after 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15 the San Bernardino County Fire Department medics and deputies from the Hesperia station responded to the report of a traffic collision.
Upon arrival, they located a moderate to major damage collision in the area of Highway 395 and Avenal Street.
Three injured patients were located inside of the red Nissan Altima. Two airships were requested for two patients who sustained major injuries and one ground ambulance was requested for the third patient.
One of the patients, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department officials, was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The second was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Clinic and the third patient was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, information will be updated as it is received.
