VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A couple is behind bars after beating the woman’s ex-boyfriend up after he showed up to the Northgate Village Apartments, authorities said.
On Monday, October 28, 2019, at around 8:30 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the Northgate Village Apartments, located at 17251 Dante Street in the City of Victorville for the report of an assault. When the arrived they learned that Ticiya Britton, 35, of Victorville, and Michael Engram, 32, of Adelanto, were at the location. When Britton’s ex-boyfriend showed up, Engram attacked him leading to serious injuries.
“Prior to the incident, Britton expressed to another party that she was going to assault the victim,” said Victorville Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
Britton was booked into jail for Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. She is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Engram was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit a Crime and Battery with Serious Injuries. Engram is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
