VICTORVILLE, CA. – Two were arrested after a robbery at the T-Mobile Store in the 14200 block of 7th Street in the City of Victorville.
In the evening of Saturday, August 10, 2019, deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a robbery that just occurred at the T-Mobile Store. The reporting party said that two black men entered the store and asked some questions. The suspects then grabbed several phones and smart watches, cut the security devices, and fled the store. The suspects were seen leaving in a black Acura, police said.
The suspect vehicle description was relayed to other law enforcement agencies and a CHP officer spotted the vehicle driving northbound on the 15 freeway, near Hodge Road. The CHP officer asked for assistance from the Barstow Sheriff’s Station and conducted a traffic stop near L Street. Both suspects, identified as LaQuinton Bowers, 32, of Victorville and Darren Jerome Jones, 29, of Los Angeles were detained.
The items stolen from the T-Mobile were located inside the vehicle and were returned to the store. It was also learned that the Acura eas stolen out of Huntington Beach. Both suspects were booked at the High Desert Detention Center for Robbery and Vandalism.
