VICTORVILLE – No arrests have been made in the Brentwood area shooting that injured two on Sunday Sheriff’s officials said.
At around 12:11 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a shots heard called to a home in the 14300 block of Moon Valley Street in the City of Victorville. There was a party at the home that day and when deputies arrived people were leaving both on foot and in their vehicles.
Deputies investigated and although several people heard the gunshots, no one was able to identify the person who fired the gun. Two were injured, including a 26-year-old man who was shot in the hand. His mother rushed him to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Also a 19-year-old Hesperia woman suffered a foot injury, possibly from glass.
The sheriff’s helicopter and ground units did an area search but no suspect was found. It has still not been determined who fired the gun. Anyone with information is asked to call 760-241-2911. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call 800-78-CRIME or leave tips at www.wetip.com.
