HEMET – During a 2-day operation headed by the Hemet Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit officers made arrests of two San Jacinto residents for prostitution.
On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, officers investigated in the 900 block of W. Esplanade Avenue in the City of San Jacinto. As a result, Kristin Gwin, 35, was arrested for prostitution. She was transported to the Riverside County Jail and is being held in lieu of $2500 bail.
The following day, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, the investigation led authorities to the 600 block of N. Ramona Boulevard in the City of San Jacinto. Ebony Dillard, 40, were arrested for prostitution. Dillard was transported to the Riverside County County Jail and is being held in lieu of $2500 bail.
Hemet Police Captain Pust said, “These investigations are examples of how a Measure U funded unit impacts crime and quality of life issues in the Hemet San Jacinto Valley.” The Hemet Police Crime Suppression Unit is comprised of a Hemet Police Sergeant and Detectives who are funded through Measure U.
