RIVERSIDE – Two suffered severe burns as a result of a structure fire located on the 3600 block of Castle Reagh in the City of Riverside. At around 1:08 a.m. on Monday, July 4, 2016, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to the structure fire.
Neighbors reported hearing multiple explosions just before the fire. When firefighters arrived they located a fully involved shed with some extension to a detached garage. The two critically injured patients were taken to Riverside Community Hospital for the treatment of their burns to 60-80 percent of their bodies. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
