UPLAND, Calif. – Two suffered minor injuries and one sustained life-threatening injuries when a small plane crashed into the Upland City Yard property on Saturday.
At around 9:45 a.m., San Bernardino County Fire Department, Upland Police Department, and the City of Montclair Fire Department responded to an off-airport light aircraft crash in the 1300 block of Benson Avenue. The plane, who apparently had engine problems came to a rest on the Upland City Yard Property where the pilot, and two passengers got out of the plane without assistance.
All occupants were transported to the hospital for treatment. The San Bernardino County Fire Department secured a small fuel leak and assessed Upland City Yards for damage. The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
