SAN JACINTO – At around 11:17 p.m. deputies from the San Jacinto station responded to a traffic collision on State Street near Crows Nest Place in San Jacinto. When deputies arrived they located the female pedestrian, who sustained major injuries.
Through further investigation, they learned that a vehicle traveling north on State Street struck the man and left the scene. The suspect vehicle was later located unoccupied on fire. The injured pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital.
A temporary closure of State Street was necessary throughout the investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information is asked to contact the San Jacinto Police Department at 951-487-7352.
