RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A 26-year-old Riverside man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Spruce Street and Atlanta Avenue on Sunday.
On Sunday, June 23, 2019, at around 9:45 p.m. Riverside Police and Fire responded to the report of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic ciAuthorities said that a white Lexus was traveling west on Spruce Street and collided with a pedestrian who was in the roadway. The pedestrian, Danny Gonzales, died as a result of his injuries at the scene.
The Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene and is currently investigating this incident.
