VICTORVILLE – A 32-year-old Victorville man was arrested on Thursday, May 3, 2018, for hitting a male victim several times in the head and body with a 2X4 stick.
The incident occurred on the 14100 block of La Miranda just before 5:00 a.m. The Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said that deputies from the Victorville station responded to the home and learned that the victim went to the home to retrieve his cell phone from Davon Davis, 32 when he was attacked.
Davis was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack.
