VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A Victorville man was arrested for multiple robberies in San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties.
The 22 armed robberies occurred between late 2018 and January 2020, and took place in Victorville, Colton, Upland, Rowland Heights, Glendora, San Dimas, and Pomona. During the robberies the suspect was described to be wearing Nike Air Jordan apparel and used a knife to rob the businesses. Through investigation by multiple agencies, Carlos Alberto Gutierrez, 38, of Victorville was identified as the suspect.
On March 11, 2020, in the late morning, detectives served a search warrant at Gutierrez’ home in the 13700 blk of Burning Tree Drive. Evidence tying Gutierrez to the robberies was found in his home leading to his arrest. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for Robbery and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
