VICTORVILLE – A Victorville man was arrested for burglary and assault with a deadly weapon after entering his ex-girlfriend’s home and striking her male friend with a gun on Monday.
On Monday, April 30, 2018, at around 1:55 p.m., deputies from the Victorville station responded to the 14600 block of Equestrian Court for the report of a verbal altercation. When they arrived a short time later, they learned that Jermaine Anderson, 38, entered his ex-girlfriend’s home without permission. The ex-girlfriend was inside the home with a male at the time. “They confronted Anderson and told him he could not be there,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “During the confrontation, Anderson pointed a gun at the female and then struck the male with the gun.”
The gun was recovered at the scene and Anderson was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and burglary.
